CoHo in NuLu
The Coalition for the Homeless kicks off their community education campaign in the NuLu neighborhood
After working with St. John Center for Homeless Men to not only meet but far exceed their fundraising goal, Stewart and Associates wanted to keep giving back to the community. That’s when we were introduced to The Coalition for the Homeless (CoHo) and challenged with developing a new image and marketing campaign to raise awareness around the city.
On June 20th all the hard work came to life when CoHo kicked off their new awareness campaign in the NuLu neighborhood near downtown Louisville. Billboards, bus stop posters, signs, and coasters could be seen throughout the neighborhood displaying their new look and asking “Where will you sleep tonight?” and “What’s for dinner?” By asking what we think of as easy, everyday questions, we let the passerby know that these same questions can cause fear, anxiety, and stress to those less fortunate. CoHo gives all of us a reason and a resource to help.
The Coalition for the Homeless is a nonprofit organization representing 32 service providers in the Louisville Metro Area, each providing a unique resource to homeless families and individuals including shelters, agencies, and advocacy groups. By helping build awareness for CoHo, we’re helping to make Louisville a possibility city for everyone.
